Step 1
Rinse the brush under a tap to get all the left over paint out of the brushes.
Step 2
Put a small dab of dish-washing liquid in the palm of your hand and work the bristles gently into the soap, in a circular pattern.
Step 3
When you are satisfied that the tips of the bristles are clean, take some more soap between your thumb and index finger and work the ends of the bristles where they enter the handle. It is very important to keep this area clean so that lumps of dried paint do not accumulate, and
destroy the taper of the brush.
Step 4
Rinse all the soap out of the brush, clean the handle off and bring the bristles back to a point.
Step 5
Allow the brush to dry flat - don't stand it up since this could affect the taper of the bristles.
