Vintage Obi-Wan Kenobi by Mark Dziak

Figure Supplies

  • - Vintage Emperor's Royal Guard (body)
  • - Blair from WING COMANDER line (head)

Supplies and Tools

  • Paints:
    -Brown
    -White
    -Black
    -Flesh

Step 1

Remove the ERG's robe and head.

Step 2

Remove the body from the Wing Commander figure.

Step 3

Glue the WC head to the ERG body.

Step 4

Sculpey a tunic, wide sleeves, a 'cummerbund', a lightsaber hilt on his thigh (like Luke Bespin's), and a Jedi padawan braid.

Step 5

Cut 6 thin strips of masking tape and wrap 3 around the top of each of his boots to serve as those leather straps. Then wrap the rubber band around the 'cummerbund' to serve as a leather belt.

Step 6

Bake him until the Sculpey is hardened. Be sure not to bake him too long like I did, because he warped slightly and now stands crookedly.

Step 7

Cut out a vintage-style cape from the fabric with little arm holes.

Step 8

Paint with browns, blacks, whites, and flesh color. There you have it!
