Before you begin:

• This isn't the senator you often see pictures of. I made up the costume, and I really am pleased with the turn-out.

Step 1

Start by pouring a 50-50 ammount of water and rubbing alcohol in a plastic cup. Then, add black, red, white, and whatever other colors you want in the fur of your senator.

Step 2

Paint the head and hands with the wash. I used a wash because it really portrays all the colors perfectly, in my opinion. Note: After the wash dried on mine, I flecked it with gold, and it left a really nice look. Can you tell I like my gold paint? :)

Step 3

Now boil the Royal Guard and remove the head. Then take the cloak off. Go ahead and cut off the hands.

Step 4

Mix the blue and black until you get a very dark blue. Paint the Royal Guard body with your new mixture.

Step 5

After the Guard's body dries, paint a gold line from the bottom of the middle/front of the robe until you get to the chest, then make it split into a V-neck, and connect it in the back. Then, paint a gold line around the very bottom of the body, and then paint gold cuffs on the sleeves.

Step 6

Super glue the head to the body, along with the hands, and you're done. If you want to give him a nice accessory, get a small bouncy ball, find a picture of the planet Kashyyyk, and paint the ball accordingly. Voila! You've got yourself a Trophy Assorment Kashyykian Senator.
