  • X-acto knife

Before you Begin
  • Even though the Episode 1 figures are loaded with articulation, here's a way to give our Jedi Master more. Also, it will give him some better qualities that no other figure has.
Step 1

Cut off Qui-Gon's boots. Glue on the Beast pack Qui-Gon boots.

Step 2

Cut off the lightsaber blade with the knife. Push a thumbtack in the hilt as well as the blade. Put a piece of paperclip into the blade and glue. Then push it into the hilt. DO NOT GLUE INTO HILT!  Push the tack into Qui-Gon's belt, and into the side of the hilt near the bottom.  Glue a piece of paperclip into the belt. DO NOT GLUE HILT TO BELT!

Step 3

Give him his cloak or tunic.  There you go! A Qui-Gon with articulated neck, waist, shoulder, elbows, legs, and ankles, a removable lightsaber with removable blade, a removable cloak, and a tunic!
