Mace Windu by Chad

Figure Supplies

  • Mace Windu (the one with that huge cloak thing)
  • Qui-Gon Jinn Naboo version (with that cool cloak)

Supplies and Tools

  • X-acto knife
  • Small Screwdriver
  • Silver paint
  • Superglue
Step 1

Pop off the arms and heads of both figures.

Step 2

Then use a little screwdriver to slowly pry the torsos apart.

Step 3

After you have this done, pull out the hands that are on those swivel things, and cut off the other hands. Now, because the peg on Mace's hand is smaller than Qui-Gon's you take your X-acto knife and cut the pegs off and glue them to the opposite hands. (i.e. the peg that was on Qui's right hand is now on Mace's right hand).

Step 4

Glue the hands on so they look seamless, and put Mace back together, if you want cut the blade off of his saber and paint the blue spot on the hilt silver.  See, easy. Oh, and always ALWAYS cut away from yourself with the X-acto knife...  it sucks to get cut and have to leave your project. Anyway, now you are probably saying, well why don't you just play with the mail away Mace, it's pretty much the same as this one, well I DO have a mail away Mace, I just can't bring myself
to open him... and now I don't have to. (besides this gives me more articulation anyway.)
