PARTS

Ceremonial Queen Amidala by Sheldon Knutson/Craig Mullan

Figure Supplies

  • Ceremonial Princess Leia
  • Naboo Queen Amidala

Picture by Craig Mullan using a recipe similar to Sheldon's.

Supplies and Tools

  • Paints:
    -Light Tan
    -Cream
  • Sculpey

Step 1

Use Boil and Pop method to take both heads off of both figures. Put Amidala's head on Leia's body.

Step 2

Add sculpey to Leia's cape. Make some sculpey come down the front of her dress as well until is lies on the floor. This will be the main dress section.

Step 3

Use a sculpting tool to add rough texture to the sculpey.

Step 4

Use sculpey to make Amidala's "fan-like" thing that sits behind her head.

Step 5

After heating the sculpey to make it hard, you can now finish the painting of the figure. First, paint the main dress unit (the one you first sculpted) a light tan color. Then paint the "fan-like" thing a cream color. Paint Amidala's face the standard white and red colors.

Step 6

Painting the neck and chest are optional. I found it better looking with the chest and neck normal skin color, but I'll let you decide.

Step 7

You're DONE!
