| Step
1
Using the boiling water method,
disassemble Han Solo and Leia.
Step 2
First take Leia's head and remove most of
the hair with an X-acto knife. Then, apply a thin layer of sculpey
to the head and smooth it over. Apply sculpey to the hair and
sculpt in some braids and beads with the dental tools. Bake with
boiling water and than paint the skin the pale flesh paint , the hair
Scarlet Red, apply a small black wash around the eyes, and for a more
dynamic
appearance outline the lips in crimson paint.
Step 3
Take Leia's torso and apply a thin layer
of sculpey and sculpt on the jumpsuit. Use the same baking method, then
apply the following paints: Paint the skin the Pale color, and the
jumpsuit the crimson red color. DO NOT SCULPT ON THE VEST. You will get
this from Han Solo.
Step 4
Leia's arms need no sculpting accept for
another bracelet on the left arm at the wrist. Paint the skin the pale
color, and the bracelets the crimson red. Also for a more accurate
figure, sculpt on longer fingers and paint the flesh the pale color and
the nails black.
Step 5
Han Solo's Legs and pelvis need no
sculpting accept for the application of a second blaster holster on the
left leg. Paint the boots and holsters the brownish tan color and the
pants the Crimson Red color.
Step 6
Using Sculpey, make a mold of the
lightsaber hilt and bake it in boiling water. Than make six saber hilts
with the mold and paint them different colors.
Step 7
Paint Han Solo's vest brownish tan.
Step 8
Now it is time to assemble your figure.
Combine the painted legs and pelvis from Han Solo and the painted upper
torso from Leia together and glue with model glue. Put on the Vest to
the nearly finished figure.
Step 9
Using the Dremel tool, bore six tiny
holes in the belt. These are where the hilts can attach.
Step 10
Place Luke rifle in one hand and the
lightsabers on the belt and stand back and admire you finishes, fully
pose able Aurra Sing figure.
NOTE: I am in the process of creating an entire Jedi Council. I also
plan to
post a picture of this figure once I get a good pic. See-ya Later!
