Figure Supplies

  • Theed Invasion Amidala

Supplies and Tools

  • Paint:
    -Black
    -Silver
    -Brown
    -Gold
  • Polymer clay
  • Needle
  • Super Glue
  • Emroidery floss

Step 1

Boil the top half of the Amidala figure for about a minute. Pull her head off as well as her oversized tie and shoulder piece. Pull her hair off too. Pop Amidala's head back on.

Step 2

Shave down Theed Amidala's sleeves so they are about half as thick. They should also be the same length all around.
Add some sculpey to the sides and bottom of the sleeves so they come to a almost a triangle that comes down just past the end of the hands.

Step 3
Put a thin, smooth layer of sculpy over the sleeves and the dress to cover up the designs.

Step 4
Now, sculpt the hairdo. I strongly suggest using a reference picture for this part. It took me a half hour to get it even close to right without a picture, but once I got the picture, it was done in about 5 minutes. The foreknot part of the hairdo should have some detailing in it. Sculpt indentations for the bands, and make the part in between the bands stick up just the slightest bit higher than them. Detail the part that sticks up with the sharp end of a needle. For the suspensas, take a piece of black embroidery floss and tie little knots into it. Glue them onto the bottom of the hairdo. Bake the figure.

Step 5
Paint the entire dress black. After that's dry, paint on the detailing with gold and silver paint. (You can find some good pictures of the detailing on the dress on the Episode 1 DVD.)
Paint Amidala's hair brown, and the front of her foreknot gold. Put a little circle of gold on her forehead to complete the headpiece. Paint the suspensas black if they aren't already. You're done!
