  • Darth Vader Gunner Station

Supplies and Tools

  • Paints
    -Red
  • Paintbrushes
  • Dremel
  • Plastic tube

Inspiration: from the Rogue Squadron comics. This custom has a more accurate cokpit.

Step 1

Take the Interceptor apart and cut out the seat along with some of the plastic around the screw holes on the top half. On the bottom half, cut off the plastic where the laser cannons are attached (pic 4) to make room for the figure's feet.

Step 2

Take the gunner station apart and keeping only the top half, cut the "wings" of the seat off, even with the chair.

Step 3

Paint the chair black and apply dull coat.

Step 4

Cut off maybe 40% of a plastic ring and bolt it to the seat (to hold the figure in place.)

Step 5

Next, reassemble the fighter. The seat is easier to put in when you slide it in from the front of the top half of the cockpit.

Step 6

Finally, paint the solar panels. The painted areas should be about 11 spaces wide.
