| Step 1 Take the ANH Han, and boil him. Pop his head, arms and torso
off of his waist.
Step 2
Now boil Bowen, and remove his torso from waist, making
sure to leave the head and arms intact.
Step 3
Now you'll have to Dremel down some of the peg on Han's
waist, it's too tall, and wide for Bowen's to fit onto it.
Step 4
Place
Bowen's torso onto the new waist, and lop off his arms under his shoulder pauldron type
things.
Step 5
Cut off approximately the same amount of Han's arms.
Reattach the arms using superglue.
Step 6
Once the glue has dried, use Sculpey to fill in the arms,
boil to cure, and all what's left is the paint job.
Step 7
Bowen's beard was thin enough to just paint over, but for
you perfectionist's, a slight sanding job using 1500 grit sandpaper will remove it very
quickly.
Step 8
Paint his face and hands a flesh tone (so they'll match). I chose
black hair with grey highlights for his hair, but I did paint the ponytail tie in the back
the same color as his shirt. Painting his shirt is tricky, and time consuming.
There is a small bit of undershirt showing under his outer
tunic, so I painted this white, then painted the tunic a dark blue color. If you
choose to leave his legs the blue, then use nailpolish remover to remove the Correllian
bloodstripes, if not, paint the whatever color you'd like, brown was my choice. I
repainted his holster and boots black, just to match the paint on the rest of his body.
