Before You Begin

I based this figure off of the Drew Struzan drawing of Mara on the cover of "Vision of the Future."

Step 1

Carefully cut off both Leia and Adi Gallia's skirts. Use the boil-and-pop method to switch their legs. Pull Leia's hair off.

Step 2

Sand down Leia's arms so they are more like all one sleeve instead of two.

Step 3

Place Adi Gallia's skirt onto the figure. Sculpt Mara's satchel over the cut in the skirt to keep it together. Sculpt on her shoulder-sculps and her medallion. Bake the figure.

Step 4

Sculpt Mara's hair. Texture it with either the x-acto knife, a toothpick or a needle.
Bake the figure.

Step 5

Paint Mara's tunic and pants green. Paint her boots, belt satchel and medallion brown. Paint straps for her satchel onto her torso.

Step 6

Paint Mara's eyes green. You may also need to paint her lips and eyebrows a different color.

Step 7

Paint Mara's shoulder-sculps cream. When that's dry, paint tan stripes on them. Paint a circle of cream on her medallion also. Paint the very middle of the medallion red.

Step 8

Paint Mara's hair orange-red.
