Figure Supplies

  • G.I. Joe
  • Darth Vader Cape
  • Luke's blue lightsaber

Supplies and Tools

  • Hair tie
  • A/B Epoxy (or Sculpey)
  • Sewing Thread
  • Dremel
  • X-acto knife
  • Superglue
Step 1

Start by sanding away any GI Joe details (Grenades, guns, etc) With this particular one, I practically sanded the entire figure except the face and shoulder pads.

Step 2

Now super glue the hair tie to his wrist, you may want to cut a little notch out to fit it in there.

Step 3

Using your Epoxy or Sculpey make the clothing and amulets.

Step 4

Tie together a clump of black sewing thread and super glue it onto the back of his head for
the ponytail. Fill in the gaps on his hair with the epoxy.

Step 5

Now take Darth's cape and glue a rounded piece of plastic on the left shoulder (see picture).  Make the rest of the shoulder amulet with Epoxy.

Step 6

I also glued a small braided clump of string and glued it to the right front part of the cape. (optional)

Step 7

To make the lightsaber just add Epoxy onto the existing hilt so that it's mostly covered.  Get creative!

Step 8

When you paint him he has a scratch on his right cheek and a Sith symbol on his head, (looks like a Space Invader).  After you paint him glue the other end of the hair tie to his shoulder making
sure you don't take away too much articulation.  Remember all those twisting joints on GI Joes chips off paint so chose your figure wisely.
