Step
1
Switch Sabe's arms onto Padme's body using the boil-and-pop
method. Use an x-acto knife to remove the detail from the
sleeves, to carve out the neckline, and to cut off Padme's
skirt. Remove Padme's hair.
Step
2
Sculpt the inner skirt. Bake the figure.
Step
3
Sculpt the skirt overlay and the corset. Use a toothpick to
make swirldesigns in the clay. This will be the embroidery.
Bake
Step
4
Sculpt the skirt and sleeves of the coat onto the figure.
Use a toothpick to make the same designs in the inner sleeves
as you did the skirt. Use seed beads for the broach that connects
the outer sleeves in the back. Bake.
Step
5
Sculpt the hairdo onto the figure. Be sure to have a good
reference picture
for this. Roll out long, thin pieces of clay for the piping
on the sleeves and back of the coat. Also, sculpt on the shoulder
caps. Bake a final time.
Step
6
Paint the entire outfit in dark purple. When that's dry, paint
all but the "embroidery"
of the skirts, corset and sleeves dark blue. Paint Padme's
hair brown.
Step
7
Use grey-purple for the piping and broach of the coat. Paint
on Padme's gold headpiece and necklace. Use flesh for the
neckline and rose for her lips.
Step
8
Spread either glue or paint onto what would be the beaded
parts of the dress. Sprinkle the holographic powder (sparkles)
onto that. You're done!
