Step
1
Using the boil-and-pop method, switch Padme's head onto Leia's
body. Using an x-acto knife, remove the details from Leia's
torso. Pull Padme's hair and Leia's skirt, belt and cape off.
Step
2
Sculpt the skirt onto the figure.
Step
3
Sculpt the train onto the back of the skirt. Sculpt the front
and back overlays onto the figure. Detail it with an orange
stick. Bake the figure.
Step
4
Sculpt the neckpiece and the long strip of cloth running down
the front of the dress.
Also, sculpt the hair onto the figure. Start by applying thin
strips of sculpey to the head. Continue to build these into
the "seashell." Add the headbands and
detail the hair with an x-acto knife. Bake the figure.
Step
5
Paint the bottom third and the train of the dress light purple.
Slowly mix your purple into light pink so the colors will
easily blend on the figure. Next, mix the pink into peach,
the peach into light yellow, and the yellow into white.
Step
6
Paint Padme's shoulders, back and arms flesh. When that's
dry, paint the lower arms white and use silver for the bands
on Padme's upper arms. Also use silver for the
detailing on the neckpiece.
Step
7
Paint Padme's hair brown and the headbands periwinkle. You're
done!
