Before you begin:

• This scene was cut from A NEW HOPE, but was added to the BEHIND THE MAGIC CD. Luke spots a space battle overhead and tells his friends, who don't believe him.

Step 1

Give Felton a good shave and trim the hair as required.

Step 2

The Uncle Owen chest is too narrow to fit into the Ponda Baba Jacket. To overcome this, cut 1/16" to 1/8" donuts off one of the plastic tube seperators that comes in a Cinema Scene. Boil and stretch the arm pegs, increasing their length to include the plastic spacers. Add the spacers and glue to the arm peg. The spacers do not need to encompass the whole peg, just about three quarters of it.

Step 3

Pop the arms into the body. Boil the assembly briefly to tighten the joints, then quench in ice water.

Step 4

Shave Han's blaster belt off the torso, leaving just the pants belt.

Step 5

Trim jacket to waist length and sand away pocket marks.

Step 6

Paint the figure with the head and jacket seperately.

Step 7

Slip on jacket and pop on head.
