The
cool thing about this version of Antilles is that his arms
move so he can grasp at Vader's hands just like in ANH when
the big guy was choking him.
|
|
Step
1
Use
boil-and-pop method to remove the heads and arms from the
deluxe Obi-Wan
and Ponda Baba, and the helmet from the Rebel fleet trooper
|
|
Step
2
Use
your X-acto knife to split open the torsos on Obi-Wan and
Ponda.
|
|
Step
3
Dremel
out the inside of the Rebel Fleet Trooper helmet to fit the
Obi-Wan head. You can glue this on or not, and paint a chin
strap or not.
|
|
Step
4
Fit
the pelvis, arms, and head from the deluxe Obi-Wan into the
Ponda Baba torso and glue it all together.
|
|
Step
5
Using
the light brown and white paint, create a shade of light tan
to match Antille's pants and shirt as seen in "A New
Hope". Once that is dry paint the black stripes down
the sides of his pants.
|
|
Step
6
Again
using the light brown with black, create a shade of brown
for the Ponda Baba vest and the arms. Paint both and make
sure after you put the vest on to paint in any light spots
that show up around the shoulders since there are some gaps
between the vest and the arms.
|
|
Step
7
Flatten
out some Sculpey with a pencil by rolling it like dough and
use the pizza cutter to cut out a small square and a belt.
Bake the pieces and paint the belt similar to the color of
the belt on the figure and
paint the square a medium gray color. Put blue dots on the
square for the insignia, touch up the buttons with silver.
|
|
Step
8
Glue
on the belt in a hanging position, and the rank on the non
pocket side of the vest. Paint the top of the vest a darker
brown all the way around just like the jacket in ANH.
|
|
Step
9
Equip
him with the gun from the Rebel Fleet Trooper with the end
nozzle painted silver, and the rest of the gun dry brushed
silver to give it a more authentic look.
