Before you begin

  • Captain Antilles is the trooper Vader chokes on board Leia's ship at the beginning of A New Hope. First of all this custom looks best with the cinema scene body since it has a great action pose.

Step 1

Remove Ponda's jacket.

Step 2

Remove his hands and head. To remove the head on the cinema scene figure, his head and hands off. On the single carded just use the boil and pop method.

Step 3

Remove the Rebel Fleet Trooper's head and hands. The hands with an exacto knife, the head the same way you took off your Ponda's head. Don't place it on yet, you need to paint first.

Step 4

Paint Ponda's shirt (minus sleeves) the green color. Paint the sleeves and jacket the beige color. Paint above the jacket's left pocket the light brown color, then use your best judgement to mirror the pattern on the right side of the jacket. Paint the light brown on the back of the jacked from the start of the sleeves all the way to the places where you painted the light brown before.

Step 5

Pop or glue the trooper's head (glue for cinema scene, pop for single) on Ponda's body. I added sculpy to the neck so when i glued the head on the CS Ponda's body it wasn't on a slant. I suggest making the head on the CS Ponda's body in a way so he looks to where he's aiming his gun.

Step 6

Glue the troopers hands on Antille's body and put the jacket on the figure.

(Optional) Step 7A

Paint the barrel of the trooper's gun silver and make a hole in the end with your sculpting pointer.

(Optional) Step 7B

Place the blaster in his hand and voila! A Captain Antilles figure!
