Dip the Q-tips in nail polish remover and gently rub off the
blackberry-colored wash on the droid. Don't rub too hard, or the
vac-metal layer will come off. Some specks of wash may remain, but those
make good "weatherbeaten" patches.

Rinse occasionally while working on patches of the droid.
