Celebration V

So it's true, FFURG will be at Celebration V but you won't be finding us behind a booth. This year, Dan, Tim, Jason, and I will all be at Celebration V. How will you recognize us? (well, me anyway) I'm planning to wear my C3 shirts a couple of the days.

That brings up two questions for the FFURG community.

1) Are you going to Celebration V?

2) Are people interested in FFURG T-Shirts again? I think if we do this, they will be more expensive and done through CafePress or a site like that.

2010 GI Joe Convention

Anyone heading to the 2010 GI Joe Convention this weekend in Providence? I've canceled plans to head to NJ (for other reasons) and I think the $12 admission may be enough to swallow. Even though I'm not a Joe collector, there's bound to be parts galore in 3-3/4" scale.

Fan Choice Poll 2009?

Do you guys think we have enough traffic to participate in the 2009 Fan Choice Poll? Give us your feedback here, as well as your top 10 figures yet to be produced. I'll assemble them here and if we have enough commonality, I'll submit them to Hasbro.

A while back I created a FFURG page on Facebook, hoping to generate some more traffic. Well, here's the official announcement to drum up that traffic!

Downtimes

Some of you may have heard of this already but I suspect most haven't. The economy has finally hit the Delaton household hard and I got laid off on Monday. It sucks, but we'll survive.

However, to the benefit of FFURG, I may have some more time on my hands to drum up postings, work on the custom of me finally, and continue working on all those ships I wanted to make.

Also, casting can be taking more of a priority since I'll be looking for ways to trade for parts and figures (saving the wallet some much needed $$$).
