Here are some more pictures.

Aunt Beru's foot broke off and that definitely needs repair. Uncle Owens neck is too long and I don't like his skin tone. If anyone has suggestions on what they use to paint/color/marker vintage style eyes I'd really appreciate it.

My camera really makes Dooku's eyes look much worse than they are (maybe this is how they looked after Anakin took off his head).

Hello everyone,

Long time visitor, first time poster. I finally figured out this whole blog thing, or at least the basics.

I've customized for over 9 years now and for the past two or three have focused on vintage style. Mainly for these reasons:

1. I'm short on time and patience, I like vintage style due to the fact that the challenge is in making the custom look less detailed that the modern line. It allows me to be more creative or at least creative on a different plain.

2. I love the concept of old Kenner artists and their need to "kit bash". We all love the kit bashed boba fett. I envision the Kenner artists being told "we need mock ups by the week end" and then having them scramble to put together a figure that could be photographed for some marketing tool.

3. There are some serious sculptors, painters, and customizers out there with real talent. I don't pretend to match these individuals in skill, and remind myself constantly that it is a hobby. although, I'd love to get paid for it (I might even take more time on the detail).

So tell me what you think, I will have more pictures up within the next few weeks.
