got any ideas for base figures? 3 3-4 or 1:18 scale only, as that's these only scales I work in, with the exception of a few 1:6th scale figures and some commissioned 8 inch figures. I'm mostly interested in a base figure for Mattias.

It's been a while since I last posted anything in the forums, but I have been quite busy learning vector graphics (I'm still very much planning on purchasing a laser cutter in the near future). I have however decided on a more expensive made in the USA model from Epilog so I'm having to save a little more. Anyway, I've posted some of my custom work (Vector Based graphics) on my web site. It began as simple cutouts for laster cutters, but I ended up getting into Clip Art.

bitmap image of a new vector file I just finished for a custom vintage Kenner plain white mailer for use on a laser or other CNC device. This was created using an actual vintage Kenner mailer as reference.

some of you might remember that several months ago I mentioned I was trying to learn vector graphics because I was considering purchasing a laser cutter. No, I haven't got it yet, they went up on the model I was eying more than $2300! I am still looking at it though, and I've been working with vector graphics in Corel DRAW X4, and the simple thought just occurred to me the other day, I think you could make perfect hole punches in custom cards using these things, not to mention quickly and perfectly cut the entire card out with rounded corners. you would only have to create a vector outline template, which is fairly easy. The laser I'm looking at as a res of 1000dpi so it should look as good as die cut. if any of you have experience with lase cutters, let me know if you think this will work.

Comparison of original Kenner ROTLA cardbacks to test print of newly restored card. Still needs a little color tweaking. but otherwise I'm happy with it.
