I am a coral farmer by trade, if you can consider that a trade, ha ha. Lets see well, I like Star Wars! I think my main interest now is trying to balance having a new baby while adding to my collection.

So I am around half way done with my extensive vintage line up, but ol Max Rebo sits on the shelf with his band wondering why they don't get a new home too.

I am trying to find a way that a guy with no more resources for this stuff then the average citizen can make this happen. I am not against creating a custom cardback and doing it that way but where would one find the bubbles. I would really like to put them into a box like the originals but once again where to get the bubbles and who to print the box.

I am posting this because I know a few of you here have built your own custom containers for these guys and am hoping you might have some light to shed on the subject for me.

Thanks in advance.

I have access to a friend of mines talent and CNC machine. He has offered to help me recreate the vintage style peg hole die. I am planning on making a few of them since the template is the hardest part. Let me know if there is any interest for these out there as I would like to know that all of this time spent would be worth it.

There would of course be a small fee, but I would also like to do some trading with some of you talented custom figure makers to help me make a figure for a friend of mine. I have not done any trading on here but I have an eBay account with excellent feedback rating over 700, so I can be trusted.

Just let me know what you think, and if anyone has any suggetions on creating a perfect punch for this it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys

First off I wanted to thank all of you who have helped me in the past, much appreciated!!!

I am around half way done with my recarding adventure, I am doing a full vintage line with most variations included. I am really having a hard time finding a picture that I need for a POTF Jawa cardback. I even have tried cutting the picture from the "ANH" line back but the POTF line pic shows more of the left hand side of the Jawa. It really doesn't have to be perfect but nice would be great!

I am placing all of my vintage recards into the star wars line of protective cases, they fit better and in my opinion look much better too. I wanted to let everybody know that these sometimes elusive protective cases are now on clearance at Hasbro.com. I was able to pick up around 200 of these at a little less then $1.00 a piece. So if you are interested then, there you go.

Also "not to stretch this out" I have access to a friend of mines cnc machine and he is a master with it. He has offered to help me build a punch for the vintage style cards. I know there have been a few people here that really wanted one and since the template is the hardest part I can make quite a few. There will be a small but reasonable fee for these and all moneys will go directly to him for the use of his tools and more importantly his time. So let me know what the desire is for these out there and I will get started.

Hey guys,

I am looking to make or have made a custom figure of a friend of mine for his b-day. I have made the cardback but I really dont know much of anything about custom figure making. If someone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it, I will try to post the pic of the cardback and of course the figure does not have to be perfect just somewhat resemble him, I posted here because I am sure that this cant be done with just Star Wars figures and thought someone might know what kinds of figures could be used in this. Thanks for any help, and as I said if someone thinks this would be a fun project I would be happy to pay them for their time.

I have read over the problems that were had by people trying to resell the hard work put here. I just want to try and find a few cardbacks to use to complete my set and would be happy to contribute anything that I have made as well. However I am not sure how to go about registering to use the pics.
