After a few months break I'm back with a new customs project. I finally watched the entirety of the TV series Lost over the summer and it immediately became my favorite TV show of all time. Being a fanboy I immediately looked for the merchandising surrounding this series and I was quite disappointed to find out that Lost has been completely shafted in the action figure department. First up was McFarlane's 2005 series of boring states which go for way too much on Ebay, and now Bif Bang Pow is using their acquisition of the license to make awkward looking Mego style figures of the Lost cast. Anyway, like a true customizer I decided that I'd channel my disappointment into making my own Lost figures. I'm going to be using the modern G.I. Joe figures as a base for this project, because that is the toyline which has the most figures in clothing appropriate for making these characters.
First up is the southerner armed with a full arsenal of nicknames- James "Sawyer" Ford.
Head: G.I. Joe 25th Sgt. Airborne
Body: XMO Wolverine Movie Logan

I'm about to begin work on a custom of a woman in a sparkly dress. I have no idea what's the best way to go about making the dress like that. Anybody here have experience with this or know how I should go about doing this? If it helps or changes your answer I use Games Workshop's arylic paints

Because I'm currently working on a stop motion fan film based on Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross's comic Marvels, I am going to be making a lot of customs for this project. Because a lot of these figures will be pretty mundane and uninteresting, so I'll put them all in one thread instead of creating a new thread for each figure.
Here's a couple of mundane but necessary customs for my Marvels film project.
First up is a truck featuring an ad for the latest headline from the Daily Bugle.
Entire Truck: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Rollbar
Here is an odd but necessary custom- the drunk hobo roaming the street as Galactus threatens to demolish the Earth. Check out the reference photo to see what he looks like.
Head: WWE Matt Striker
Body: Mezco Friday the 13th 2009 Jason

Here is a rare non-Marvel or Star Wars figure from me: a figure of one of the best trenchcoat-clad detective/crimefighters to ever grace four color, the Spirit!
Head: DCUC Aquaman head cast
Everything else: Mezco The Spirit movie figure.

I've got two new figures to show off now. The first one was definitely took more work than the second. I know it's been a very long while since I did the Classic Angel, but I promise I WILL finish the original five (although it might not be too far soon in the future). Without further ado, here's Classic Cyclops.
Upper body + arms: ML 10 Cyclops
Legs: ML Luke Cage
Belt Buckle: ML Black Knight
And now here's a very simple figure I made that can go with pretty much any superhero- a henchman!
Head: Triple H
Body: Rocky Balboa Jim Lampley
