So I was going through my fodder today, trying to organize it a bit when I came across a couple of unfinished customs. It took me a bit to figure out when I started these figures and it hit me that it was likely Spring 2008. Feeling spunky I went ahead and finished them off this evening...

The customs themselves are nothing special, simple repaints as you can see. The black-clad Imperial is simply a repaint of the TSC Moff Jerjerrod, while the ISB officer has a bit of a twist to it. It's a SAGA Admiral Ozzel body with a TLC Imperial Scanning Crew head. The twist though is that the body was used on an old Grand Moff Tarkin custom. Since I had hollowed out the neck, I needed to put the neck post back. I surprisingly still had it and an easy glue job either took care of it.

A nice way to flesh out the Imperial command a bit more and maybe, just maybe get me back into customizing a bit more.

Happy Customizing!

Nice paint job on Jerjerrod.

Except for the stuff on the neck. Nothing a quick light shave of an exacto blade couldn't fix.

I do like the difference in texturing of the two pants.

Nice slick paints here.

What's with the random surge in Imperial Officer customs today?

Clone Wars continuity backlash? Going with the immutable and things that are not going to change.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Paul - the neck paint has been fixed, thanks for pointing it out. The texture difference is just due to the choice in figures used. The SAGA Ozzel was more heavily detailed in the clothing than the other Imp officers.

Yodaman - Imperials rule, that is all! headbanging2.gif

Den - simple paint apps that took me forever to get finished. Lame aren't I? pinch.gif

Great as always Jason, and love seeing some Imperial diversity.

And the paintjob really makes that Ozzel figure look great. That figure's color is all kinds of wrong on its own, but with a repaint and headswap, very sharp looking. My only suggestions would've been shaving the rank badges to something else just for diversity's sake, and on the Ozzel figure, I love swaping the arms around so they are a more neutral pose.

If you actually flip-flop the arms, they become a much less sharp bend at the elbow, and able to hold a blaster with 2-hands and not look awkward. The same applies to Capt. Antilles 2003 figure. It's really neat how neutral the arms can be made doing that stuff.

hey JJ!

I should have done the arm swap like you suggested, I've done that on other customs using the Ozzel body. But I forgot until now, so maybe I'll go back and do that, probably the rank badge shaving too.
