Barring any major opposition, I think we have a concensus:
QUOTE
If WOTC doesn't receive much support this time I will campainge for it the next time. Since we are easing back into the CC's I think Secret Apprentice is the way to go because it is something most if not all of us have knowledge of the character and the game and researching references wouldn't not be too difficult.

The Enforcer demands the "leader" to make a call...continue debate or make choice.

You heard the man DnJ. What's the call? Do we need a poll or should we get started on some figures?

This is kind of what I was thinking, too. There are specific topics that I would rather do personally, but from a group standpoint I think this is an excellent choice. Taking a look back at the posts in this thread, nearly everyone has said that they'd be cool with doing something from The Force Unleashed. As they say, the ayes have it. Casting Call #56 will be costume variations of The Secret Apprentice. Since we're at the midway point of the month, let's say another 45 day submission period with the deadline being July 31st.

Not to rain too much on the parade, but does anyone have decent shots of the various costumes? I haven't found much. I did get lucky and on the Wii version snapped a few that I may attempt. I'm suprised they worked at all (Correllian Flight Suit, Bounty Hunter Disguise and Sith Robes). I'd be willing to take more if people have requests but would like to also see some of the higher res shots on an X-Box or PS3.

Also, I'm thinking of using the Flash/Grand Slam head from the 25th GI Joe line as my Starkiller/Secret Aprentice base. Any thoughts on that?

How does the Flash head look on a Star Wars/Starkiller body? To me that is a small pin head on some bodies.

Another picture I'll need to take and put up around the weekend; it'll be a WIP. But I bet the answer is depends greatly on the body. I have no Starkiller body. I don't own the TFU Evo set. I should've been clearer and said "base head" or common head.

Some refernence pics

HEAVY TRAINING COSTUME

SITH ROBES

KENTO ROBES COSTUME

AS A CHILD

CORELLIAN FLIGHT SUIT

Paul based on the pics I've seen the Flash head looks really close to the SA. I would say it's a good choice. I'm hoping to start my figure(s) this week.

I'm at a complete loss being that I do not know much beyond the first trilogy. My knowledge of the second trilogy is limited. I read the posts and have no clue who many of these characters are. I'm stuck in mud and spinning wheels. Also still trying to obtain enough figures for fodder (a term I learned here). Even trying to do a self custom is hard being that I shave my head or keep it VERY short. And I already did that bald Maul. I'm definately a "johnny-come-lately" in the SW universe.

Cuz I got it fixed...I was able to upload these direct shots from the TV/wii to the pc.

Sith Robes

Kento's Robes

Corellian Flight Suit

Bounty Hunter Disguise

There's also Heavy Training Gear, Light Training Gear, Jungle Combat Gear, Raxus Prime Survival Gear are shots I did not take directly from the Wii.

Nice start Ton!

I went to my local toy shop to get the loose Secret Apprentice figs I saw there in baggies and they were all gone! Time to rethink my approach to this CC. dry.gif

I've been seeing the acutal versions in the stores again. I think it's the final push out of the Legacy blues before the Reds come.

Hi Everyone,

I've posted the details about the Casting Call on the main page and put together a new icon as well (this time I nailed it in one try, thanks to Paul James publishing the cool visuals)...

Looking forward to seeing all the great work that's sure to come from this new Casting Call.

Happy Customizing!

Don't you mean Ash or Tim? rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the feedback on the Flash head. I think it's a more cost effective alternative instead of begging Casting/Architect Boy for them. May just hold out hope that a discount store might mark down the Greenshirts pack (how they got them when they're TRU exclusives, don't know) which has 2 of those heads.

I am looking to use the Flash head for the Sith lord/cloaked costume and going to check out Doug's piece on converting the McQ Rebel Trooper to an apprentice head.

If I can ever get the skirt glued on I'm going to use a GI Joe DD Comic Hannibal head for that costume. IIRC in the game it is the one with slightly longer hair.
