Some one had a lot of Bossks laying around.

I somehow came into an abundance of these guys over the years from both POTF2 and Saga. Saga is my favorite due to the joints so I am looking forward to the VSTC figure later this year.

tonophan,
i like them. I think you did a nice clean job on the head swaps. Even the little custom goatee on the han head looks nice and neat. I think the Trandoshan looks great as well, though his boots/feet could use some modding...ie either his bare reptile feet or a large pair of boots.

Otherwise, nice find of a novel EU character that no one has seemed to touch.

that says it pbarny...i've never even heard of this dude.
nice job with the hoses and helmet and limb swap...i'd like to see a clearer picture of this dude's feet. The only improvement i'd say he needs is a more accurate paint scheme..matching the silver and gold parts to the reference.
This guy would definately stand out on a shelf...even most star wars fans would say "WHO THE HECK IS THAT?" then you could say, " That's Gorm the Dissolver...duh!"

I like these a lot! Eventually I might do a Rykrof like your custom on the far right (which is a SAGA Endor head), if I ever get that far in the photonovels I'm working on. The middle guy looks good too, but the Trandoshan is what I really like. For some reason the idea of a "good" one of his species really seems cool to me. I like the diversity... they're usually portrayed as a ruthless, evil species. Cool seeing a different take on them, or at least one of them who has a different view on things.

ton,

well this is certainly an interesting custom, I don't recall ever hearing of this guy but it's a unique design. the use of parts seems to match the reference pic as best as can be without heavy modification, though i think the arms might be a bit long. i really like the mod you did to the jango helmet, it has a whole new dynamic to it. nice stuff.

happy customizing!

a nice set of rebel generals ton. nice to see a trandoshan in the mix, my only suggestion would be to shorten the arms a bit, they seem too long for the rest of his proportions when compared to bossk and other trandoshan imagery.

happy customizing!

Very cool custom. You might even consider using the upcoming McQuarrie Fett alternate helmet, in case you ever want to make a change to it.

Either way really cool work, and unique!

I had shortened the arms when I first did it. I noticed they seemed a little too long my self but thought shorting them even further might take away from the idea of their long reach. The boots I was unsure on what to do. Barefooted seemed tacky so I'll look into the bigger boot.

I thought the idea for a "good" Trandoshan was unique. I was initially going to make him missing a limb but I may save that for another figure.

Very cool little group of leaders Ton...

I agree with the issues of the arms somewhat, though they are longer than human arms based on Bossk. What bugged me was the feet as they clearly don't match the species as seen in EU or the films... I think I'd swap out the boots for Bossk feet since that's just how they appeared. If you were going with a Sauron general using the Bossk head though, I'd give him a paintjob, leave the feet, and give him back the original arms (if that's even possible?).

I think they're all great rebel filler though, fine work man.

With some cutting of the sides and a Fett antenna the Neo-viper head would work well. I'd also add a C-3po or 4-lom arm as the right arm, this is a good custom though. I really like it. That's just a couple of suggestions if you ever add to it.

I can't seem to post pictures from Photobucket with this new setup cry.gif so the links are attached instead.

The old medic was just a clonetrooper with medical supplies. nothing really unique

and looked like every other clonetrooper

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c214/Tonphanan/032.jpg

The new medic has less armor to give more mobility and a different helmet for better vision.

The arm computer didn't turn out quite like I hoped it was a little bigger than I wanted. My biggest problem was getting a helmet that allowed for a wider range of vison but wasn't too different than a clone helmet.

I would suggest removing that saw thing of his arm. It doesn't look to good. Also the body is fairly bulky and if you had you could have used a thinner body like the Death Star Gunner. It has removable armor so even better. Just a suggestion

Never considered the Death Star gunner.. I chose Prune Face mostly for the vest, I always liked the saw concept on the G.I. Joe guy so I thought I would use it on my medics as a quick way to cut through the armor. Does anyone have any other suggestion for a helmet?

I think armor would be able to stand up to some saw in my opinion. It would most likely shatter. Maybe a Mele weapon?
