Post pics of your customs area. Lets see how creativity works for each of us. My area is a temp/permenant setup in the basement of my new house. The reason it's temporary is because I haven't laid out the SW room yet, but permenant since it'll be in that room, obviously. Right now I'm a bit lacking on light and power but as you can see, I'm anal with organization of my parts. My wife calls it my "Body bank". Consisting of three drawer towers, I've organized all my parts so I can quickly find and lay out parts for any new custom or gathering parts for fellow customizers.

As you can see, the resin casting bottles are from a recent casting "blitz" for Pbarny here on the list. Actually, and the contents of his package (as proof) are on the left (but sent out Wednesday). thumbup.gif

Wow that is a lot of stuff, but does that constitute all of your fodder? I remember you showing me a list of all the stuff you had, but I dont think it would all fit in those drawers. I don't have a set spot myself at the moment for working, my fodder drawer set and my box o' instruments along with my dremel sit atop my stereo. I usually sit at my computer desk to work, or the dining room table when I can get away with it to work.

All my stuff fits into a little rubbermaid craft kit 18" long and 6" tall. Course, that doesn't count where I work with the table saw typically in my mom's garage or outside...

Actually Cor, that's just parts. My fodder includes over 450 carded figures bought on clearance and sales. Those are all still boxed up from the move, awaiting the display shelves to be installed before I can unpack, sort, and store them underneath the shelves.

Although not a ton of work gets done is this area, when the mood strikes me I'll do a custom in this area. The table to the left is where the brewery goes... laugh.gif

My highly mobile area that can be cleaned up as soon as the paint dries. The joys of sharing an apartment with an adult sibbling.

The actual customizing work is done on the small brown and ran table that is seen in most of my vehicle pics, but my customizing "area" actually takes up an entire wall in my spare bedroom (the other 3 walls are shelves with all of my customs on them.

Here is my "Works In Progress" table that also has all of my accessories organized in the 2 blue 60-drawer organizers.

These are my boxes of fodder. They are all Rubbermaid (or compatibe brands) and filled to the brim with parts.

The only things not shown are the pile of vehicles shells (and the large box on the floor that they sit on) and my painting supplies (which are in several tackelboxes behind the box with the vehicle shells sitting on it).

Thanks, but I already re-arranged the area...pictures to come soon. I can tease you by saying I now have an enclosed customs area for storage and workshop, free of intruding cats....

Wow, you guys have these fabulous studio-like setups! And I have heard JediKitty speak of an entire studio... That's most impressive.
Would that I were that lucky -- I have to make do with my li'l tiny kitchen counter! blushing.gif

Hey, mine's just a little wooden dinner/snack tray that folds up. A counter is at least a permament structure in most people's places (till I come in with the sledge hammer and make it gone).

Well, I'm kinda new here but I dont mind showing off my workspace. I call this place the Monster Garage, and once you see it youll know why. I warn you in advance what you are about to see may shock you.

Pitiful isn't it. wink.gif Half finished projects abound. My roommate wonders how I get anything done with all this clutter. This pic is a couple of weeks old, if you can beleive it its gotten worse.

This image is kinda old, this space is a LOT more cluttered now. If I took a pic right now you wouldn't even see the table. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure I could get in the room to snap a pic at this moment. But this is where the magic happens tongue.gif

This is what the rest of the room used to look like:

Unfortunately all of these had to be packed up to make room for my girlfriend to move in pinch.gif
