If you are looking for a great place to host your images try out PhotoBucket. It has the ability to make albums and the very handy feature of automatically generating the tags for different applications.

Here you'll see the URL, HTML, and IMG tags used for any type of linking.

-Use the URL tag if you want to just put the address to the photo in an email or post.

-Use the HTML tag if you want to link the picture in a html document.

-Use the IMG tag to insert the images into a post, much like these below are.

You are able to see a larger size preview of the image by clicking the thumbnail in your album.

Here you can see that you can add up to 19 pictures at a time. This is a very handy feature and a lot of other image hosting sites only let you upload one at a time.

Once you've linked your images try not to move them around because the links will be broken after that. If you do decide to move them go back through your posts and update the links so that the images you were refering to are visible to others. If the IMG tag is pointing to a blank address it simple won't show up in the post.

Thanks for looking over this. If you want to start up an account at Photobucket.com do it right here.

Explains a lot there, Dan dry.gif . But yeah, for those still haven't joined the cult, c'mon. The Kool Aid is cyanide free, for today.

Photobucket now hosts 100mb or smaller video files which you can paste either the link or as a thumbnail to the movie file in a post.

I like this one's ability to post thumbnails and generate the right code needed for different types of message boards. They do need to integrate the auto-copy feature Photobucket has, but still a great host regardless of that minor luxury.

Is anyone else having problems uploading images to photobucket lately? Or is it just me? I've tried on Chrome, IE7 and Firefox. Nothing working. It hangs up after 1 is uploaded.

They have a new uploader, which didn't work in my case. But you can switch back to the old uploader, which worked just fine with me.

Flickr gets my vote.

Besides it being in your photosteam you can have a pic in a flickr group like clone wars where you can see other members pics as well.
