Digging up old things...

Since my wife has the camera in Shanghai for the next five days (it spent the last 2 weeks in Beijing), I can only talk about what I'm working on and can't post it.

I've done a bunch of MP5 with scope and various ammo clips.

Working on a lightly armored Yuuzhan Vong warriors. Probably calling this glistaweb armor.

Did a quickie Zardra custom that's half based on the mini I did earlier, half based on pictures (plus gets rid of that Zarana head).

Trying to come up with a new version of Mirax Terrik.

Doing a more accurate Juno Eclipse (yes, I'm sculpting bigger censored.gif on her so Starkiller's got a nice place to lay his head).
Livonia Tavira as well, Grand Moff and villian of Rogue Squadron and I, Jedi.

Doing a female "true" Ubese bounty hunter.

A proper Cobra de Aco to go with my Cobra Mortal.

Also, completed a 3 Man SWAT/Steel Brigade team of Shockwave, Bulletproof and Sure Fire who are getting some of the custom guns (the completed SEALs get the previous).

and Kyle Katarn's weapons got customized (so therefore Kyle got accessorized, not customized).

Just finished Darth Wyyrlok from the legacy comics. Will post pics soon.

Working on a Darkside Cade Skywalker, just need to fix the paint issues on the flesh tone.

Figure that's driving me nuts is the Yak Group Project Shaaki Ti. I should have it done in the next week or two.

Oh Boy, where to begin.

Shaak Ti, parts popped and ready for sculpting
Dark Forces Mara Jade, popped and ready for sculpting
3 Mynock Hunt Gang, mid-paint
2 Padawan Pack figures, popped and ready for paint.
Nepal Marion Ravenwood, popped and ready for sculpting
Ysanne Isard, painted, waiting on a head cast
Realistic CloneWars Anakin, thoughts started, parts set aside
Realistic CloneWars Rex, parts assembled, awaiting paint
Realistic CloneWars Cody, parts assembled, need the helmet sculpted
Realistic CloneWars Clone Lt for Plo Koon (dunno the name), thoughts started

Oh, and I have about 15 heads to cast for Paul. Waiting on the RTV rubber shipment. You'll get some extras back for your trouble, as usual.

I see I'm in the same spot as everyone else: too many projects, not enough time thumbup.gif

Let's see:

- Group Project TFU Shaak Ti: sculpting complete, ready to begin painting
- Linet Starbright as Rebel Pilot: nearly finished, helmet needs to be painted
- Fan Fic Turbo Tank Commander: still struggling with a camo pattern. Maybe I'll ditch that idea all together. Need to find a large enough item to resemble a Turbo Tank wheel.
- TIE Fighter dio and A-Wing: on hold due to other projects/time issues
- Speeder Bike project: started work on the front and on a hip articulated Scout
- "Martial Arts" Wookiee: slow, because of struggling with getting the hair do sculpted right

And a lot more that haven't had much attention lately.

So be it, Jedi.

Wow this thread hasn't been active in a while.

1) Massive Han Solo Project
- One ANH and two ROTJ versions left to complete

2) Adding ball jointed hips to an Evolutions Darth Maul
- First attempt is done and turned out OK, now to perfect it

3) Yet another Imperial Officer

4) Multiple vintage and 25th Ann. Snake Eyes

5) Updating my Ultimate Croc Master (Need a couple of the 25th Anniversary versions for this)

That doesn't sound like much, but it's enough to keep me busy for quite a while. I'm sure I'll find other projects along the way too.

Well I am good at searching and digging up relevant things as opposed to just asking or posting a new thread...I do say SEARCH to everyone because I practice it. dry.gif

I think you should go and try to do some the international varriants. You'll have the extra/spare parts for it. There really are only 4, Stalker (UK Action Force just SE with different name), Mortal (silver and red), Invasor (cobra logo on chest) and Cobra de Aco (Flash body yellow and silver, with silver head).

Oh, and since I mixed up the more green-brown color that we saw on ANH as opposed to Impreial Fleet grey of ESB/ROTJ for Tavira, used that on Tarkin's body as well.

Let's see...

Aside from the current migration of all my web stuff from AOL to Google, I've been working on:

1) A squad of New Republic Infantry troopers. I am stalled while I determine what kind of weapons to give them. I originally was going to go with the Endor rifle, but now I'm leaning toward the Colonial Marines' pulse rifle from the movie Aliens.

2) Re-doing my entire squad of Null-class ARC Troopers. I rushed through the first attempt at these and was not as happy with them as I wanted to be. Obviously, clones are not very difficult as customs go, but I love these characters...

3) Deena Shan in one of those black Alliance Commando suits. This is comletely done except for painting the tiny Rebel Alliance logo on each of the knee pads, elbow pads and shoulder pads. I had been putting this off because a) I thought it was rather silly for a commando to have identifying insignia on his/her suit, and cool.gif it is going to be extremely difficult to hand-paint six identical logos on something so darn tiny. Of course, now I've become aware that this figure will be released soon (and it looks better then mine), so I may scrap the whole project. angry.gif

I have LOTS of ideas, but these are the only things I've been actively working on for the past week or so.

Well I'm thinking of making a Starkiller figure in his bounty hunter diguise, this is going to be tricky since I don't have a Starkiller head , but I'm crossin my fingers and searching my fodder bins. thumbup.gif

I just got that suit in the game and was thinking the same thing. I am looking at doing many of the costume changes in the game and several of the bosses. I am also looking at doing ALL the Wraith Squadron pilots in other things than pilot jumpsuits. Also want to do a Darth Maul in the 25th G.I. Joe style, just because I think it will look cool ph34r.gif. The only problem is I get distracted easily.....and.... and work on other things so hopefully with this list I can keep on track. Also working on a Christmas project. I need your Kybucks folks, you can keep the Yoda.

*sigh*

Sadly, I haven't been able to work on anything lately. I just don't have the time.

I had a nice mental list of things I wanted to try, but now I can't remember many of them. cry.gif

I DO know I would like to work on:

An astromech
A protocol droid
A Zeltron
More random jedi
A reptilian jedi
Some repainted pilots
and some other random background characters (smugglers, settlers, rogues, etc...)

And I want to try some experimenting with lightsabers blades and trying to come up with different colors.

IF I ever get a chance... Too much going on with everyday life and no time for play. sad.gif

25th Anniversary Voltar and Darklon, finishing up the Han Solo and Croc Master projects. I've redone my super articulated Darth Vaders (ANH and all-around). I need to get to work on my Imperials too.

Ok I will soon be attempting my first Custom Figure ever, so wish me luck.

I have ordered the parts I am going to use, I have some of the parts already, just waiting for the major part which is the head, once that arrives then I will start customising. I am excited, but at the same time I dont want to ruin any figures so I will be taking my time.

Good, luck, you're going to need it. There's no such thing as luck. There's more from Daffy and Buggs, but it ends up with the duck bill on the back of Daffy's head after Elmer Fudd unloads.

I've been thinking of a Starkiller bounty hunter disguise. What does a Vader upper arms, and Fett chest/lower arms sound like?

Sounds good to me. graduated.gif I'm going to start a self portrait custom once I get the parts. So be on the lookout for one more reb figure cause it's gonna look like me in a Confederate Uniform! thumbup.gif

I'm in a rut at the moment. Trying to get out of it by woking on some 25th Joes and Birdo from the Mario Kart Wii game.

Birdo sucks. Go with Funky Kong!!!

I know what you mean by rut, I'm having deeply troubled thoughts on my GI Joes at the moment.
