I was at Meijer the other day and in the model section they have a product out from Testors that gives you everything you need to make custom decals. I have tried other decals I have made and the testors works great. You can even design your own for anything you come up with.
I dont know if this helps anyone but just trying to give any info I come across. I am only a one year customizer and got into it because of the ffurg gang at C3.
I hope this can be useful for anyone

I'm glad to see that FFURG's presense at C4 has helped someone join the customizing community! Thanks for the heads up on the decaling. Is the product specific to Laserjet or Inkjet printers?

BTW, if you want to see FFURG at C4, let Lucasfilm and the Fan Club know!

It's probably the Testors' Decal Kit. I have one and it's nearly as invaluable to me as my Dremel. I didn't use the cd that came with it, but just made an A5 sheet of decals in MS Publisher and printed that on my HP inkjet printer. Let it dry thoroughly and then spray lightly with the Testors bonder spray. Let that dry overnight.

I made the decals for this figure (front and back are the same):

So be it, Jedi.
