This is one of a series of carded EU customs I've been working on... if all goes well I'll have a lot to post this weekend.

Hardest part was getting rid of all the text about the Hologram figures -- I kind of cheated on the lower right because I'm not well versed in transparent layers yet.

I really like it. Are those customs of your own on the back? The images are small, but from what I can see, they look great.

Thanks for the comments...

The figures on the back are all customs... I've been working on a Thrawn series for quite some time. The thread on them is here.

Nice work tyk, You could have asked me and i could have saved you some work... but
it looks fantastic reguardless.
I like the customs on the back. Nice touch, i also like the book cover... A personal must for my cards.
It pics chosen are very dynamic. Adds alot of flair to the card.
Nice color choice on the boarder too. Works well with the images.

I would change the death star pic though. Make it a desert scene/ tatooine like scene. If my memory serves
me, he was somewhere like that right?

Great work

It looks like that took a lot of work. It looks very slick. I'm not much into the modern products, but this is outstanding. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see modern cards from time to time. wink.gif

Here's a few more I finished this weekend...

First up is Wolf Sazen from Darkhorse Legacy:

Next up is the leader of the Imperial Knights, Antares Draco:

Finally a Legacy Era Stormtrooper:

My biggest problem is the hang tags -- despite using fresh blades with each cut, the curves make it impossible to get a clean cut. Any suggestions on how to deal with that?

Let me start by saying that these customs are great. I don't really follow the new stuff but I can appreciate how cool they look.

To get the punch correct, you could use a standard hole punch (the kind you can use to punch a single round whole) in each of the spots that have a round edge (you'll need a punch that allows you to make punches at least 1 inch away from the sides of the papers). Once you have the circles punched, simply use the exacto knife to cut the straight lines. It's not perfect but definately looks smooth.
