Ummmm, Try Owen D he has made a giant spider droid, and also he does commissions, he can be expensive depending on what you are making, but he could probably make most of these for you.

Or ya know, you could try your hand at it yourself. That's what the FForums is all about, sharing ideas on how a person could make a custom themselves. Ben makes a good point of checking out the ROTS Cross Sections book, you could also check the various Del Rey published "Essential Guides" for either Vehicles or Droids for details on the scale of the items mentioned.

Oh and let's cut out the shilling for people who do commissions. That's a FForums no-no, there are other places on the net that don't care about the shilling, but here we want to help people make the customs themselves, it's much more rewarding.

But I will say sometimes there are contradictions between other sources and the Incredible Cross Sections. Some issues are minor as what is where exactly in a ship/vehicle, others deal with tech (or lack of it...jabba's sail barge), and the final and sometimes fatal is differences in scale and personnel/equipment (size, number and contents in ISDs launching bay).

Hi everyone,

I have not come here in some time. I did comment on the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid size issue covered in this thread:

http://www.ffurg.com/FForums/index.php?act...t=ST&f=4&t=1372

In brief, the model that came out during the movie was to small but very well detailed. I posted the scale conversion mutiplier and gave a rough measurements I thought it would be.

As for the MTT, I had one of those 2 inch models that came out in '99 and did a scale conversion by multiplying by 10. I have a special scale ruler that breaks the inch in to 10 segments instead of the normal 1/4 inch. So when I was done, it was 2 ft long and so on. Here is a quick pic:

As for the other stuff, I have not attempted these yet. I would like to some day though.

I hope this helps some.

It didnt come from a website, I contacted the creator and he shared his design with me.
Here is where I first found the toy. http://www.rebelscum.com/cow-256.asp
He sent me the design, however It had all the part pics at different scales with each
other. I spent a week making them all the same size for printing.

Huge...

I've been reading around CloneWars and I gotta say, your threads are a bit redundant really... A lot of you asking for people to lay out dimensions to ships that are virtually impossible (or rather simply not feasible) to be produced... Also most of the material you seek is available with a little research online as well... I suggest checking out www.starwars.com 's "Databank". If not there, start looking up Star Wars Ship dimensions in google, Yahoo, or other search engines to find the information you are looking for... I'm doubting these ship's dimensions are something you're going to really dive into creating "to-scale" so the dimensions really aren't important. Dig up your information on these ships, and start planning a design for something you think you can create, and go to town on it.

you can also download sketchup models of the vehicles, and measure them with the ruler of the program

sketchup is a free google program
here's the online database Sketch up 3D models database
just insert the name of the vehicle in the search tool
