Well I made a thread about a RE dio I am doing over at JD.I figured that I should ask this question here too: Is it safe to use LED's with foamcore?

my favorie thing is when RED paint gets splattered on my x-acto blade.

Why do SO many people not know how to type or use their brain as a spell-check?

Yeah, LEDs are pretty cool. Just make sure you talk to the person/store that you are purchasing them from. They are not necessarily hooked up the same way you would a light bulb.

Mind you, if you screw up, it's only 10-50 cents for another LED. lol

I'd give you more advice, but I don't have experience with this sort of thing. I only know how they are different 'chemically'

To buy the LED itself, yes its only a few cents (depends on the colour, white being the most expensive).

You can often buy LEDs in bulk bags. My father's into ham radio and I recall seeing TONS of LEDs at flea markets and swap meets cheap, cheap, cheap.
