Here's a custom Luke Skywalker Bespin Fatigues action figure I created recently.

I'm not sure if the belt is entirely authentic, but I thought it looked pretty cool. I still have to make the strap on his leg that holds the holster in place.

LMK what you think. smile.gif

Sweet. Got some profile and back shots too?

I wish the regular figure was this nice actually, considering I hate the legs and action feature.

The holster's looking good, but I'm not sure how accurate it is either. I wager the original figure's is accurate so a comparison's in order perhaps.

Scoobacca,

That's a great looking Bespin Luke, much better than the POTF2 or Saga figs. The only thing I'm not fond of, and it's no fault of yours, is the somewhat "duh" look on Luke's face. The OTC Dagobah Luke head otherwise looks fine with the rest of the parts, which if I'm not mistaken are the Saga Bespin Luke arms/torso with OTC Dagobah Luke legs as well as the VOTC Han holster. A splendid use of parts and a solid uniform paint job. Is the lightsaber hilt removable?

Happy Customizing!

I'm not sure if I already said something over at RS, but great job. I guess I will have to get some Dagobah Lukes now, the pants look great! drool.gif

Wow! drool.gif

I never though about mixing the parts of those two OTC figures! This one has to make it into my collection! Walmart, here I come! laugh.gif

That is a great custom. Bespin luke is my favorite figure. From vintage to PotF to Saga, i like all of them (dispite thier faults)
Yours puts them all to shame. I may have to make this one myself...and i dont like to copy ohters customs. Good work scoobacca.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments on my figure.

No, the lightsaber is not removable, I glued it into place onto the belt. You're right on the money about which parts I used.

Looking at these pictures makes me think I still need to paint an additional coat of paint on the figure.

Anyone have any suggestions how I can make the holster leg strap?

Here are some additional side & back photos. smile.gif

How did you get the head on the Saga Bespin Luke? Looking at the profile shots it looks like the neck of the Dagobah Luke was probably part of a solid piece torso.

I like the soft plastic Hasbro is using on their newer figures. It made it so I could simply cut the neck off of the Luke Dagobah figure with my X-ACTO blade & glue it to the neck area of the custom Luke figure I made. That way the Luke head was still on the original ball jointed neck.
